    Performance Evaluation & Career Development

    Employee Performance Management & Career Development solution is a component of Honeycomb®ERP Human Resource Management Application Suite and can be deployed with Recruitment, Profile Management, Workforce Management, Attendance & Leave Management, Payroll & Compensation Management to support an organization's complete humanresource requirements. With Honeycomb®ERP, the Performance Evaluation & Career Development is a process which requires following phases:Performance Appraisal

    • Planning Phase: Set mutually agreed upon goals and guidelines for employee evaluation. Determine the key objectives for measuring success in the position and set developmental goals to encourage greater productivity and results.
    • Performance Phase: The longest phase that allows the employee to meet goal and objectives, develop new skills and track accomplishments or setbacks in the system throughout the process. Managers are reviewing performance and making notes as well.
    • Assessment Phase: Employees are given an opportunity near the end of the performance cycle to provide feedback on the preset goals, competencies and objectives to deliver to their manager. This is when the manager will document feedback on the employee performance as well. The system allows senior managers to review all submitted documentation and sign off before the actual review is complete.
    • Review Phase: Manager and employee sit down together to discuss the year in review. Reviews can be presented online or printed and e-signature that the review took place can be captured in the system to protect the organization if legal review should occur.
    • Development Phase: Senior manager builds career path of employees based upon their feedback, performance, skill, preferences and vocational interests. Talent is identified, retained and best employed towards achieving organizational goals and retaining satisfied talented workforce.
    • Succession Phase: This intelligent activity helps to identify talent gaps and reduce attrition and flight risk by administering talent profiles and succession-pipeline, high-potential indicator and succession pool grouping, individual readiness codes and timelines for future target positions. Succession Planning helps you remain ahead of the employment curve, retain top performers, proactively manage employee performance and prevent surprises.

    Goal Management

    With Goal Management as part of the Employee Performance Management, corporate objectives as set by the organization’s governing body become a core component of every employee’s annual plan. Goals can be cascaded throughout the organization from the top or they can be set to begin at the manager level. A complete view of the progress toward meeting goals is displayed in a wrap up for executives with automatic calculation of goal completion at every level in the organization. Honeycomb®ERP Performance Management will assist supervisors with managing, developing and retaining their best people. Honeycomb®ERP Performance Management has the ability to reveal where the talent is within your organization, who are the top performers, who are achieving personal and organizational goals and who all are contributing towards you’re your success. The key features of Honeycomb®ERP Performance Management include matching employee competency profiles to job-success profiles; analyze gaps of skills for particular positions and jobs, ability to tailor 360-degree appraisals to automatically flow through areas, groups or positions within the organization you define, according to an unlimited schedule, and assign weights to individual sections of a review, ability to show individual performance review status and overall organizational-unit scorecard on a management dashboard.

    Workforce Analytics

    Workforce Analytics automates the calculation of performance indicators (PIs) or measurement criterions. Select a particular performance indicator, and the measurement can be graphically displayed in multiple views such as bar graphs, spreadsheets and pie charts. Some views include a special feature called “traffic lighting” that provides an immediate visual display of trouble spots highlighted in one shade, and areas doing well in another shade. Using a program supplied and powered by Honeycomb®ERP, the data is extracted at the aggregate level from your database. Data may be reported by your HR structure or general ledger structure. Once your data is extracted, it is loaded into a data mart, or multidimensional database. You can view information by specific year, comparing one year to another, percentiles etc. All of the views are ready to use, requiring no special programming on the customer side. Workforce Analytics does the work for you.
